River Medway Cruise & Lunch
Take in the sights and splendour of the River Medway and Maidstone, from the comfort of your seat aboard the Kentish Lady River Boat, stopping off at the Malta Inn, for a delicious lunch.
Leaving from the Archbishops Palace, Maidstone Town, at 11am enjoy a delightful and relaxing journey, with informative commentary telling you all about the sights, including Corpus Christi Hall and Maidstone's oldest pub dating back to 1636, passing Allington Castle where Henry the Eighth used to meet Anne Boleyn, before arriving at the Malta Inn, Allington Lock, at 11.30, ready for your leisurely 2 course lunch at 12 noon, before departing back on the boat to arriving back at Maidstone around 2pm, leaving you enough time for a mooch around the shops.
On board is a well-stocked licensed bar serving a wide variety of drinks, including wine, spirits, draught and bottled beer, soft drinks, hot beverages and snacks. Bar tariff similar to pub prices.
